Governance Structure
The independence of the Institute is reinforced by its governance. The Institute is an independent body governed by a Board of Directors providing strategic direction to the Institute. These directors are appointed by a council of members, equally represented, whose advice is sought, but who do not otherwise control the direction or publications of the Institute.
The Board has established four subcommittees to oversee the governance and operations of the Institute. These committees are: Public Policy Committee, Investment and Governance Committee, Audit Committee and Conflicts of Interest and External Activities Committee.
