Internships

Grattan Institute hosts unpaid internships, depending on our project needs and staff availability. If you would like to be considered for these opportunities as they arise, please forward an application to careers@grattan.edu.au.

The application should include:

• a resume presenting relevant academic and/or professional experience;
• a short cover letter explaining your interest in working at Grattan Institute; and
• an original piece of writing in the style of a newspaper op-ed, on a public policy issue of your choice (no longer than 800 words).

Your application should also indicate your potential availability (full-time or number of days per week, and time of year if relevant) and any Grattan research programs in which you have a particular interest. Your application will be considered if there is an appropriate position.
